Z-Stack OTA Power Consumption on Sleeping End Device

Has anyone tried to put the OTA cluster into a sleeping end device? If i use 2xAA battery (1300mAh), how much percentage of battery is used for completing a single OTA urgrade (HA1.2.2 SwitchMap) (including downloading ROM from ota server and reading from serial flash)? Has anybody tried it? what is the impact to to battery life?

Yes, I have implemented OTA on sleeping device. It would take very long time for sleeping device to finish OTA. You have to measure the impact on battery on your own implementation to know it.

how long does it take to complete one upgrade in a sleeping device? we have tried for router for a 1 hop network, it takes 10~20mintes to complete.

In average, a sleeping device needs 80-90 minutes to finish OTA.
