How to disable security in TI Z-Stack Linux Gateway?

Hi community members,

I am running ZigBee network with cc2530 + Z-Stack Linux Gateway as a coordinator and cc2650 as an end device.

When I power-on end device it can join and coordinator can read some attribute, but the end device get an UNAUTH indication and reset.

I already read some posts for this problem and I am still in the hell. :(

Anyway, I would like to monitor network traffic with "packet sniffer". In the case of non-secure, I can recognize whole fields of packets, but I can not with secured network.

How can I disable security of Z-Stack Linux Gateway or how can I monitor in my case?

Z-Stack Linux Home Gateway is based on Zigbee HA profile which is enable TC_LINK_KEY security. If you do want security function in Zigbee, I suggest you to use www.ti.com/.../TIDC-ZNP-HOST-SW3

I am a bit confused with your answer. I want to disable security function of Z-Stack Linux Home Gateway. You mean it is impossible?

I never try to disable security in Z-Stack Linux GW but I won't say it's not possible. If you insist doing it, you might need to look into source code and change it to disable security function.

Why don't you enable TC_LINK_KEY security on your CC2650 to solve the issue?

I do not recognize packet with "packet sniffer" when the security option enabled, so I just want to monitor traffic with "packet sniffer". Now I am trying to use ubiqua packet analyzer.

Yes, I suggest you to use Ubiqua Packet Analyzer which is much powerful and stable than packet sniffer.
