Does CC2650 (SimpleLink™ CC2650 Wireless MCU LaunchPad™ Kit) support ZigBee (Z-stack)?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2650, Z-STACK, CC2650STK

Hi Folks,

I am looking for kit to evaluate/develop ZigBee application(as well as BLE), CC2650 seems to be the one which can support both ZigBee and BLE. From previous post, I saw that Z-Stack Home 1.2.2 supports CC2650 to run Zigbee protocol, which is what I want.

Do you have any recommendation about what kit should I use for above purpose?

I found out "SimpleLink™ CC2650 Wireless MCU LaunchPad™ Kit)"  which looks good for me, but from the link http://www.ti.com/tool/launchxl-cc2650 in Software part, it only shows BLE software stack available, but not Z-stack. Does it mean CC2650 LaunchPad kit ONLY support BLE stack, not ZigBee? Can you please confirm it? if it can load ZigBee stack, do you have more detailed information about which ZigBee stack I can use and how to flash it into Kit?

Last question is that can CC2650 Launchpad be used for development purpose?

Thanks
