ZigBee Alliance defined the ZigBee gateway spec. link: http://www.zigbee.org/zigbee-for-developers/zigbee-gateway/

I would like to know if Z-Stack Linux Gateway follow the spec?

And the gateway application layer is the implementation of IPHA?

As I know, ZigBee Home Automation Gateway reference design pass Zigbee certification which you can refer to www.ti.com/.../tidu374.pdf . So, it should follow the spec. As for IPHA, you can refer to Chapter 3 System block diagram of Z-Stack Linux Gateway - API document v1.1.pdf and I think it fits what you say IPHA.
