I want to send ping in Given intervals from end devices and measure LQI and RSSI of this pings in routers and send this data by routers to coordinator.
I have some problems
1)how can I encapsulate these data and replace it in "theMessageData[]"
2) what is your suggestion about addressing in each part(is it good to set broadcast mod for end devices messages and unicast for routers to carry the data to coordinator? ) Its necessary to say that I don't want to send "PING" messages by routing mechanism to the coordinator

If you use GenericApp and send a message from ZED to its parent node, parent node can receive it in GenericApp_MessageMSGCB and you can grab LQI information from "afIncomingMSGPacket_t *pkt". Then you can replace LQI information to theMessageData[] and send it to coordinator.

yes I do this way...
theMessageData[] type is "char" but LQI type is uint8 ... how to convert it ? would you please tell me?
and how can I implement the addressing mechanism?I dont want to send "PING" messages to coordinator

1. You can use sprintf to format LQI value into char buffer theMessageData.
