There's no such UART example without TI RTOS.

Hi Bernd,

Unfortunately there is no non-OS drivers available per today. We are however working on something that we call driving porting layer (DPL) that will make all our drivers more easily portable across different OSes and no-OS. Currently I do not have a timeline that I can communicate publicly.
