error on Z-Stack Linux Gateway

Hello,

I am not able to run the gateway application of Z-Stack_Linux_Gateway-1.0.1.
I am constantly getting the following error message on log of gateway application

ERROR: Packet truncated. expected_len=2297, actual_len=2047

Why this is happening?
What is the issue?

Yes. And It was working fine earlier. But it stopped working since yesterday. I dont know why

Hi Edge,

Did you wait long enough to get all the services running?, we have notice similar issue when no all the services have finished loading and we start the application.

You can do factory rest by pressing the “X” (uppercase) shortcut key.

Nothing happens If I press "X". In fact the application wont work for any other key input and it only stops if I press CTRL + C

Try to reinstall Z-Stack Linux Home GW to see if it can be recovered.

Sir I found that the since my number of devices are more than 20, this is happening.

So you have a way to replicate this?, you add 20 devices to the network and then what to make this happen?

I have interest into replicate this.

Yes, you can replicate this error.
To do so add around 23 entries in DbDeviceInfo.csv and corresponding entries for endpoints in DbEndpoints.csv, keep remaining other two .csv files as it is.
After this start the gateway application by running the start_application script.
That's it You can see the log flooded with the error messages.

The default MAX_DEVICE_LIST value in ZNP is 20 which means that you cannot add more than 20 devices into Z-Stack Linux Home GW if you use default ZNP. You might need to add Zigbee routers to make more devices to join.

Hello Sir,
I have modified the default ZNP to support UART on CC2530.
All other (more than 20) devices connected to the coordinator are routers.
What should I have to do on ZNP to support more than 20 devices?
