CC2538: max output current on pins

Hi,

my customer has doubts on the GPIO capabilities: CC2538 offers 4x 20 mA pins as well as 28x 4 mA pins.
Are there any restrictions how much current can be drawn altogether? Any thermal considerations? Is the output voltage going to stay within spec when all ports drive the same level?

    Hi,

    According to the data sheet, there are no restrictions as long as the chip operates in it's rated conditions.

    Please refer to Table 5.18 on the Data sheet for Minimum and Maximum voltage levels on GPIO pins.
