i want to backup packet sniffer firmware that comes with CC2531EMK.

When i read flash into hex file using SmartRF Flash Programmer, it throws Error : "CC2531 ...Could not write to Hex File"

    You don't have to backup the hex file in this way. After you install packet sniffer, you can find sniffer FW sniffer_fw_cc2531.hex under C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\Packet Sniffer\bin\general\firmware
