CC2538EMK: CC2538EMK Debugger without CC2538DK using XDS100V3

Yes, you can use XDS100v3 to program/debug CC2538EMK. Do you plan to run Z-Stack on CC2538? Z-Stack examples can only be built by IAR not CCS for your reference.

Yes I am planning to run Z-Stack on CC2538 .
Which version of IAR should be used and can data received and sent be seen using hterm UART terminal or any other tool should be used.

Do you plan to use Zigbee HA profile or you don't have to? If you have to run Zigbee HA profile, you can use Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a which you need IAR EWARM 7.40.2. If you don't have to run Zigbee HA profile, you can use Z-Stack Mesh 1.0.0 which you need IAR EWARM 7.20.1. Examples in both Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a or Mesh 1.0.0 support MT commands which can be controlled from UART.

Whats the use of Z-tool? I had read it can be used to see the received and transmitted data packets .
