CC2530: Connecting GE Home Automation Light Bulb

Part Number: CC2530
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: Z-STACK

Hello,

I'm trying to control a GE Link light bulb, the specifications say it is ZigBee HA 1.2

I loaded the switch sample as coordinator from Z-stack on a SmartRF05 dev board and then started commissioning to form the network.

Then I factory reset the light bulb and it kind of joins the network but then leaves.

It sends a beacon and gets the response.

Then it associates successfully, it even gets a network address assigned but then my switch sends the "Identify query" command and then the light bulb sends a NWK Leave command and it starts all over again.

I have tried, disabling security, enabling it, dynamic keys on and off, doing network steering, finding and binding, sending the command as broadcast, nothing works.

The main difference is that when security is enabled the lighbulb starts identifying (it starts blinking and fading) and then it gets a new address again and again.

Any Ideas?
