CC2650: How to start Development using ZStack

Dear All,

Currently I want to develop a zigbee application in CC26xx device, and I have several question when starting it.

1. for newbie like me when develop zigbee application based on ZStack, do i have to use ZStackCore from "ti\simplelink\zstack_home_1_02_02a_44539\Projects\zstack\Core\Thread\CC26xx", and put an application on top of it ?

2. what is connecting point from application to ZStackCore ? how to link the application with ZStackCore ? because if you see the example to use SampleSwitch from CC26xx sample, you need to load the ZStackCore too.

1. Yes. CC26XX Zigbee application has to be based on Z-Stack core.
2. Application communicates with StackCore using iCall.

Hi YK,

in the linker or compiler configuration you don't need to do anything ? only use the Icall function, and it will automatically connect with the ZStack Core ?

Yes, you don't have to do anything and the framework will automatically connect with the ZStack Core.

HI YK,

There is several thing i want to ask regarding ZStack Core
1. is Zstack core already handling message query ?
2. is it handling message identification ? i mean in the message it has identification from which node the message come from
3. zigbee is a mesh network, is Zstack Core already handling mesh network ? i mean if one node send the message is it automatically identified who the message belong to and either pass thru the message or take it to the node itself
