Hi All,

I want to connect an analog external sensor to CC2630 module, on which pin i should connect the sensor ?

is it DIO23 - DIO30 ? and from which API i can get the data from that pin in ZStack core ?

and is it correct to use ti\simplelink\zstack_home_1_02_02a_44539\Projects\zstack\HomeAutomation\SensorTag sample as a base for this kind of project ?

Hi,

What kind of sensor do you need to connect? Does it only require a single analog input (i.e. ADC) or does it use an interface like i2c/spi/etc?

DIO23-30 are dedicated for ADC. If your sensor output analog signal, you can connect to one of them. If your sensor using I2C/SPI interface, you can configure any pin for I2C or SPI.

it is analog output only.

and what is the function from ZStack to handle the ADC input ? is it HalAdcRead() ?

Hi All,

is there anything to change from the ti\simplelink\zstack_home_1_02_02a_44539\Projects\zstack\HomeAutomation\SensorTag sample if i want to use it in CC2630 beside target processor variant ?

because i see in the sample it is write as an CC2650 source, cmiiw

This example for CC2650 can run on CC2630 directly.

Hi YK,

I try to get the Hal_ADC API from zstack, but the header goes to a lot of places...
where i can get register info ? what register to read to get the ADC value ?
or maybe you have a way to use hal_ADC API ?

There is no hal_ADC API for cc26xx. I think you have to use ADC driver in TI RTOS directly.

can i just get the ADC driver from TI-RTOS and put it in the zstack application sample ?
do you have a sample how to get API from TI-RTOS and put it in Zstack ?
