Hello,

Is there a Zigbee Network Processor (ZNP) hex file for the CC2530 that I can simply flash on the device to use some SPI commands from another MCU to control it?

I see there is a folder named "ZNP" in the Z-stack files for the CC2530, but I'm not sure if this is just a specific example of the CC2530 acting as a ZNP, or if it is *the* ZNP project.

The last download button, swrc173.zip (46.7MB) - contains ZStack-ZAP-MSP430-1.1.0.exe, has ZNP hex files, documentation, and sample apps.

Are these ZNP hex files application or application processor specific? Can I simply flash the CC2530 with the hex file and use SPI communication to connect to a network, send/receive data, etc?

The ZNP hex files are generic. Yes, just flash the CC2530 with the hex file of your choice, and talk to it via SPI from the processor of your choice. Have a look at the CC2530ZNP Interface Specification (in the release) for details on using ZNP.

I am a newbie here. And I have never tried ZigBee before. But I have only tried another image processor of a manual imaging tool. I want to know more details about the related program. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.
