Compiler/CC2530: Use IAR and Flash Programming to setup a Zigbee Network

Hi,
I'm having an issue now. I want to build a simple Zigbee Network using two CC2530 nodes. I don't have EB like smartRF05EB. I'm just using CC Debugger to flash the Coordinator and EndDevice hex file from the GenericApp sample application but I still don't know how to see the packet capturing between them and I don't know if it is in a network yet. I read a guide using Z-Tool and Z-Stack to set up the network but my Z-Tool won't recognize my CC2530 so I have to find another way.
One small question is that I do have to power up both CC2530 to transmit and receive packets right? So if I plug my coordinator which transmits packets into my computer through CCDebugger and the EndDevice I power it up with another source then is it OK?

1. CCDebugger
2. CC2530

Tools I'm using

1. Z-Stack 3.0.0

2. IAR Workbench for 8051
3. TI Flash Programmer

If you don't have CC2530DK, it's difficult to have information shown on LCD and button/LED to interact with GUI of GenericApp. I suggest you to refer to sunmaysky.blogspot.tw/.../use-ztool-z-stack-30-znp-to-set-up.html which shows you how to use CC2530 (ZNP) +Ztool (ZAP) to setup a basic Zigbee network.

Actually I did try to do that tutorial but my Z-Tool always says "No device found" even the SmartRF Studio and and SmartRF Flash Programming recognized both devices. So that's why I am trying to use another way. Is it because I'm just using CCDebugger and Z-Tool only recognized it with COM port. Or maybe I'm missing some steps? I have read the Z-Tool user guide and still can't figure out how to have Z-Tool found my device.

What CC2530 EVB do you use? Do you build Z-Stack 3.0 ZNP to run on your CC2530 and connect it with correct UART pins?

I'm using just 2 CC2530 core chip plugged with an antenna. I connect with it by using CC Debugger so I don't have any EVB now. Is it necessary?
And I'm using the znp from Projects/zstack/ZNP/CC253x/znp.eww and download it to my device.
I plugged my device with CCDebugger using USART1, alt 2 from swru197h.pdf (Table 2. USART Pin Out Details). Is it correct?

If you use default ZNP, it would use P0.2 as RX/P03 as TX. You have to connect these two pins using serial-to-USB cable to your PC so ZTool can recognize it.

Thank you. I just tried to connect these two pins with CCDebugger by using USART0, alt 1 from the table before (with P0.2 as RX/ P03 as TX) and it still didn't work. So as I suppose a serial-to-USB cable is still needed right?

Yes, you need serial-to-USB cable.
