cc2530: Factory Reset

Hi,

I would like to know how we can do a factory reset of the CC2530 chip with enddevice configuration with a push button. I am connecting a push button to P1.2 of CC2530. I have made changes in files hal_board_cfg.h , hal_key.h/c, zcl_samplelight.c taking HAL_KEY_ SW_6 as sample but no success. I am using samplelight application with enddevice configuration.

Is there anything I am missing in configuring? Please help me debug the same.

You can use the following two lines to do factory reset.

zgWriteStartupOptions(ZG_STARTUP_SET, ( ZCD_STARTOPT_DEFAULT_NETWORK_STATE | ZCD_STARTOPT_DEFAULT_CONFIG_STATE) );
SystemReset();

Hi Chen,
I want to initiate reset on pressing the push button at p1.2 so where I need to add these lines?

You can add a "if ( keys & HAL_KEY_SW_6 ){...}" in zclSampleLight_HandleKeys to do it.

Hi,
HAL_KEY_SW_6 corresponds to P0_1 and I connected a push button at P0.1 but no reset happens on pressing the button. Is there anything we need to configure to enable keypress at P0.1 ?

Do you set a breakpoint in zclSampleLight_HandleKeys and see it hit when your press button at P0.1?

No the breakpoint is not hit

You should check if you configure P0.1 as GPI interrupt correctly.

I had not made any changes. In the stack already HAL_KEY_SW_6 is defined and is mapped to P0.1 right? Is there anything we need to configure to use the same. ?

If you set breakpoint in HAL_ISR_FUNCTION( halKeyPort0Isr, P0INT_VECTOR ), does it hit when you push button on P0.1?

nope the breakpoint not hit, but am getting high/low properly at the pins.
