CC2530: SampleTemperatureSensor

Hi,

I'm new to the SampleTemperatureSensor and I wanted to ask a few basic questions to help me get started. I'd appreciate any help.

1. Which port of the CC2530 does the SampleTemperatureSensor application use?

2. Which function tells the Temperature Sensor to take a temperature reading?

3. Which function sends the temperature reading data to the coordinator?

1&2. There is no temperature sensor connected to CC2530 SampleTemperatureSensor example. It write and report a faked fixed temperature.
3. Temperature data is sent by "bdb_RepChangedAttrValue(SAMPLETEMPERATURESENSOR_ENDPOINT, ZCL_CLUSTER_ID_MS_TEMPERATURE_MEASUREMENT, ATTRID_MS_TEMPERATURE_MEASURED_VALUE);" in zclSampleTemperatureSensor_UiActionChangeTemp

Thanks. I also wanted to know how it would be possible to configure the LCD from www.circuitbasics.com/.../Arduino-LCD-Set-Up-and-Programming-Guide-LCD-Pinout.png in SampleTemperatureSensor. I looked into hal_lcd.c and I noticed that it doesn't match the pins on the image and this LCD doesn't use SPI. How do I make this LCD work with the program?

There is no existing driver for this LCD. I think you have to do it by yourself.

Is the MISO pin necessary to connect? Can the LCD still function properly without the MISO pin connected in SampleTemperatureSensor?

It depends on your SPI slave device. If slave device doesn't need to send message back, it's not necessary.

I've been trying to use this TFT LCD from www.amazon.com/.../ref=sr_1_6, in SampleTemperatureSensor, but it doesn't seem to work. I've got everything wired correctly without the MISO pin, but all I see is a white screen. How can I fix this?

You have to read data sheet and write driver to enable it.
