Hello,

Ideally what should be the End device radio range with 5dbm Tx power and PIFN antenna with JTI Balun?

It’s difficult to judge with your descriptions. According to my experiences, it’s about 50 meters uing PIFA antenna with 5 dbm.

I am using cc2650 with JTI balun reference design but i think RF is not performing well, Because even if i keep the end device near to the coordinator then also it does not join or rejoin the network immediately...i can see beacon request in sniffer but devices does not sends association request or rejoin request quickly ..like ti cc2650emk

I think you should use spectrum analyzer to check your design.

I don't have spectrum analyzer,is there any other way to identify the issue?

Try to use SmartRF Studio 7 to do PER test.

using smart Rf studio 7 am able to send and receive packets.
also the device joins /rejoins the network when i place the end device near(<50cm) to coordinator/router but it does not joins/ rejoins the network when it is placed away(>50 cm) from the coordinator/router
