Can the CC2538 GW support the cc13xx as a device? In the sense if I use the cc13xx with the cc26xx-web-demo supports them?

Try to use your CC2538EM+SmartRF06 to run MQTT-demo to see if there’s UART output.

So, it looks running fine. If you run 6lbr and MQTT-demo together, I think it should send MQTT messages to IBM QuickStart.

I am not sure if MQTT-demo can run on CC2538EM without SmartRF06. You have to try it by yourself.

If I connect the CC2538 on my pc via USB, the pc don't read the chip. So it means that the cc2538 does not power itself alone without smartrf06

MQTT-demo doesn’t implement usb driver so it’s correct not to see it detected on PC.

If you use LAUNCHXL-CC2650, it can run cc26xx-web-demo without problem. It will be a good choice.

CC13xx doesn't have enough flash size. I had replied you to use a BBB or Raspberry Pi to act as 6lbr.

No, CC1350 cannot work with CC2538GW. CC1350 is subHz based and CC2538 is 2.4G based.

No, you cannot use CC2650 as G and CC1350 as node. CC2650 as node and CC2538 as GW can work well.

So that means there is a way to communicate between cc2538 and cc1310

It's not CC2538 to connecting to CC1310. THe Weptech gateway has connected CC1200 to CC2538 and it's CC1200 that can communicate to CC1310.

As I know, CC2538 connect to CC1200 using SPI interface on Weptech GW.
