LAUNCHXL-CC2650: How to Create 6Lowpan network

I had gonre through the link you sent but as there mentioned, we can disable some of those individual components in cc26xx-wb-demo example (coap-server,mqtt..etc) by changing the respective defines in project-conf.h similarly as I just wanted integrate bmp-280 sensor. Is there any way to disable other sensor's(hdc-100,tmp-007 etc.,) functionalities.

If I run the cc26xx-web-demo with bmp-280 sensor in cc2650. Is it able to send data to the gateway or any changes required in the code?

Yes, you can disable those sensors from cc26xx-web-demo.c

ok,currently I dont have BBB but I have 2 nodes(cc2650 launchpad) I loaded cc26xx-web-demo example to one node-1(without sensor) and
slip-radio to other node-2,
1. so now how do I send data from node-1
2.how do I check that node-2 is receiving it

Slip radio won’t work alone. You have to run 6lbr to use slip radio to communicate with cc26xx-web-demo

when I power up both , In slip-radio console , its printing some Hex-string for every 60seconds why?

It’s waiting 6lbr to communicate with it.

So when data is sent from node(cc226xx-web-demo) how the data will be received

1. data will be received by slip-radio and send it to BBB serially
or
2.data will be received by BBB using slip-radio

then ,in my case without BBB when I power up the slip-radio

1. Is it receiving data from node and waiting for the BBB commuication
or
2. waiting only for BBB communication without receiving data

1. How do I send data(any string) without sensor using net-uart

2. How do I send sensor data by connecting bmp-280 to the cc2650 launchpad

1. You can refer to UDP client/server which show you how to send message with UDP. Actually, net-uart uses UDP too.
2. If you know how to use UDP to send message, you can do bmp-280 reading and send the reading by UDP.

No I asked by using cc26xx-web-demo example how do I send sensor data to the BBB running 6lbr, using net-uart functionalities in cc26xx-web-demo

will it send sensor data to BBB just by loading cc26xx-web-demo to the cc2650 by connecting bmp-280 sensor any changes required in the code

You can refer to how net-uart send data and just send the bmp-280 reading in the same way.

Can I use "udp-client.c" example for node 1 instead of "cc26xx-web-demo" to send data and recieve data through slip-radio and send serially to BBB running 6lbr?

Yes, it's similar to net-uart of cc26xx-web-demo.

I am using Arago project as OS for Beagle Bone Black for edge router setup and I am using ethernet cable connected to BBB ,
When I was following the installation proceedure for 6lbr I found an issue that I am not able to install "libncurses5-dev"
so how should I install libncurese5-dev

I am following proceedure for installing 6lbr using below link here when I run "make install" commaand I got an error as
make: install: command not found
make:****[platform/native/Makefile.native:97: install] Error 127

will 6lbr application supports only on Debian or will it supports for other OS too?

ActuallyI I was not able to install bridge-utils and libncurses5-dev initially so I downloaded those 2 packages from internet and copied to my Arago project installed it, after that when I run make all_native plugins tools it worked,
after that when run make all I am getting error

Is there any specific path that I need to install bridge-utils and libncurses?

I am now using debian for BBB and I able to follow the instruction untill the creation of 6lbr.config file after that when I run "service 6lbr start " I got an error as "Failed to start 6lbr.service:Unit 6lbr.service not found",
here I am using ethernet cable to BBB for net connection .
1) so in 6lbr.config file what all I need to comment , what all I need change or enable?

2)what might be the problem and solution

yea make all_native worked (I ran as make TARGET= all_native)
and make install also worked
after that what needs to be done for 6lbr.conf file

when I did "sudo make=TARGET all_native" It build up and it took long time as specfied.

when I run "sudo make plugins tools" I got errors as below so what should I do

You should run “make all plugins tools” instead of “make plugins tools”

Ok It worked I can see the node tree in this link http://[bbbb::100]/sensors_tree.html but here on the node side I had loaded cc26xx-web-demo example.

now I have modified "udp-client.c" example program where it will send sensor data instead of "Hello.." string.
I had tested this code with "udp-server.c" it worked

But now I have to send this udp data (from udp-client.c)to the edge router (BBB-6lbr+slip-radio) , I have loaded this code

1) will edge router receive the data ? if yes
2) how to see the data received by edge router [I dont want to put it on web server]?

Try to refer to Network UART (net-uart) section in github.com/.../cc26xx-web-demo

No, I don't think edge router would receive udp packet from udp-client example.

I did not get the compleat idea of net-uart.
as given in the link if I use netuart functonality in cc26xx-web-demo example and open uart console like tera term,Qcom, and send message from node it will send to UDP port 7777 listener.
1.how can I see those data on edge router side ?

I think you can run “nc -6ulkw 1 7777” on edge router to receive it.

How you tested this functionality(net-uart ) ? please tell me the steps how to proceed .

*In net-uart.c the function [ uip_udp_packet_sendto ] which sends the packet is same as it used in udp-client.c so why cant I use it to send to
edge router

which variable holds the mac address in both?

You can find device MAC address in linkaddr_node_addr.u8[] in Contiki-main.c
