Compiler/CC2538: how to make cc2538(ZED) as a sleepy device

hi,

   i am using ZigBee stack 1.2.2a in cc2538.  i want to make my device(ZED) as sleepy device, so that it can run for long time when power is supplied with battery. hear i am connecting temperature sensor and it has to send to coordinator(ZC) for every 1 min. my point is, it has to wake_up for every 1 min and send data to ZC and rest of the time it has to be in sleep mode. 

 is it possible to make above condition. if yes, is there any api or flage to make it as an sleepy end_device. please let me know.
