CC2530: Router doesn't respond after 25-35 minutes anymore

You have to input three parameters, dstAddr, NWKAddrOfInterest, and SecurityEnable. dstAddr is in zAddrType_t format of the destination device that you want to request endpoint. NWKAddrOfInterest is the short address of destination device that you want to request endpoint. And, set SecurityEnable=0.

1. I get an error that "pMsg" is undefined. What should I define pMsg as? Should it be MSGpkt?

2. I also get an error (Error[Pe136]: struct "<unnamed>" has no field "clusterID"). How do I resolve this?

I don't see the breakpoint being hit in this "case" on the coordinator CC2530. So does this mean the router does not respond to active end point request. How can I fix this?

I use the below CC2530DK. I don't think this is hardware problem. I started the code from scratch, but the problem still persists. Are there any timers that are going on when there is inactivity? Because every time I toggle the on/off state of the CC2530, it seems like it is resetting the timer since I wait another 25-35 minutes from the previous activity instead of waiting the remaining time from initialization until the CC2530 can no longer respond to commands. What do you think?

According to your sniffer log, I think the problem is on coordinator.  Packet #355~362, router sends On/Off report attribute to coordinator and there is not even MAC ack from coordinator.

I use a Smartthings hub as the coordinator. I tested an Smartthings smart plug (router) and it did the same thing as my router. It didn't have any MAC ack either, but it was still able to respond to commands even after the 25-35 min period. The sniffer log of this router device is below. So why might my router be having problems?

I get MAC ack when I send on & off commands to my CC2530 router, but as you see in that log, when there is no activity (no on&off commands) for an extended period of time, the CC2530 stops sending "command" to the coordinator and the router no longer responds to commands (seen at end of log). So why is this happening?

1. Are you referring to last bunch of data requests from the CC2530 router in the log? If so, I did not send and on/off command to do that. I don't know why that happened, but afterwards, the CC2530 router just stopped communicating with the coordinator. What can be done about this?

2. This is the log of my CC2530 router with on/off commands and it is apparent that the coordinator is not the problem as it does do MAC ack.

I don't think it's coordinator problem because I showed you the log for a product router that worked fine with & it didn't lose connection with 25-35 minutes.

My question was why the Z-Stack 3.0.1 router has an issue where it drops connection with the coordinator after 25-35 minutes. I believe there is a timer that causes this problem.

Can you identify any TIMER in the router CODE that may cause the CC2530 router to drop the connection with the coordinator due to LONG period of INACTIVITY(aka, no on/off commands)?

After doing some more debugging, I found out after 20 minutes, the Router stops at the below code. I cannot not step out of this line. What can I do to fix this?
