RTOS/CC2538EMK: ZigBee end device can we control by coordinator

We have one ZigBee mesh topology doubt

if end device(e1) connected to the router(r1). And the end device(e1) within the range of coordinator(c1) and some other router(r2,r3).

if coordinator(c1) to router(r1) communication broken then coordinator can directly send the command to end device or not?

In below diagram, have explained my scenario. Can anyone clear this doubt?

No, coordinator cannot send message directly to end device unless end device is the child of coordinator.

thanks for your reply. So if Coordinater need to send the command to that end device via only that communication broken router only possible?
is this correct?

if c1 to r1 communication broken, we can communicate c1 to r2 and r2 to r1. Using this type of other route can we communicate?

Actually, coordinator would send route request to reconstruct routing path to end device if routing is broken. This is done by Z-Stack automatically and application doesn't have to deal with it.

for example 3 end devices connected to one router, those 3 end devices are with in the range of coordinator or some other router.
If the router communication broken can we send any command to those end devices?

if router not working or if router not getting power on or hardware problem or software like that

Then, end device would rescan to join other routers or coordinator and reconstruct routing path.
