CC2531EMK: New windows installation Driver issue

As others have reported,   cannot get the drivers for the CC2531EMK   sniffer loaded.  It does work on one computer  but on a new laptop with new windows installation, cannot get it going.

Tried many things.

When installing from either SmartRF Packet Sniffer Setup  2.18.0  or  2.18.1  goes through to the end with error message when installing Cebal driver:

Driver Installation failed with return code -2147483648     (looks like a phone number)

When CC2531EMK plugged in shows in device manager as other devices with exclaimation mark.  No cebal  device shows up.

The cebal2  security catalog  setup and system file are all from 2014.

have tried the vcp.zip  files ccxxxx_usb_cdc   filkes that did not work.

Any assistance GREATLY appreciated.  Thanks

    Have you tried with the drivers under C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\drivers\cebal ?

    Did try that. No success there.

    Did resolve it however with help from a TI support guy.  He gave me  a TI  link  to zipped  file    swrc212a      This file has the full set of 2010  Cebal  drivers.   Moved those files in and driver updated immediately from them.  Not sure but I think it might have been related to a 32 vs 64 bit issue.
