CC2538: non profile sample application

I dont want to use any profile related protocols. I just want to join my cc2538 boards to a PAN and send data to coordinator no need of clusters or profiles just simple send and recieve callbacks just like xbee.

how can i achieve this because every application in zstack example uses HA profile. please help.

You can try to use GenericApp example in Z-Stack Mesh 1.0.0. It doesn’t use HA profile and show you how to send “Hello World “ between two nodes.

okay thanks i was looking into genericApp example in zstack 3.0
can you tell me whats the difference between these two?

GenericApp in Z-Stack 3.0 uses ZCL but GenericApp in Z-Stack Mesh doesn’t.

Thank you that explained a lot. I have one more query i have tested the generic app and it is sending hello world to coordinator but when i downloaded same application on my custom board it is not connecting to coordinator. what could be the issue ? My board is working fine for other application.

You have to debug to know where it stucks.

it doesnt stuck anywhere, but after sometime it also appear as a coordinator on sniffer.
