CC2530: Get the RSSI value

You can use API ZDP_MgmtLqiReq to get it.

using ZDP_MgmtLqiReq we get only the link quality not the rssi value, and lqi is always a constant vale !! i want to know the strength of the packet which is transmitted.

What I recommend is a standard way in Zigbee Standard and you can convert LQI back to RSSI.

how can i convert lqi to rssi ?? and destination address in lqiReq is which one??(is it end device)

You can use equation “LQI = 255 * (RSSI + 81) / 91” to do conversion. The destination is the router which is end device’s parent.

I suggest you to use Ubiqua Protocol Analyzer to check what is in LQI response.
