RTOS/CC2538: How to read 64 bit extended address of end device at Co-ordinator

Hello,

We want to read 64 bit extended address of end-device at co-ordinator.

64 bit extended address are used only during the joining of network by end device.

After joining network end device used 16 bit short addresses assigned by Co-ordinator for communication.

Is it possible to read 64-bit extended address of end device at co-ordinator?

If yes please mention the procedure.

We have following setup:

CC2538 as co-ordinator

IAR Workbench 7.42

Z-stack 1.2.2.a

You can use API ZDP_IEEEAddrReq to request it.

Thank you for quick response.
We don't want to request remote end device.
Does Co-ordinator maintain 64 bit extended and 16 bit short address mapping table for end device?
We want to access this address mapping.
Is it possible to access this mapping?

Try to check if association table has information you want.

Hi,

You can use AddrMgrExtAddrLookup() to find the EXT addr with the NWK addr, see AddrMgr.h for implementation details.

I used AddrMgrExtAddrLookup() to get EXT addr.
