Hello,

we use the ZigBee with 16 channels, I wandering if there any option to monitor the best cahnnel to work with.

An ability to let the device scan all the channels, and the device returns the clearest channel that can I work with.

The reason I ask that, is because I'm working in a "noisy" environment, and I need to look for the quiet channel.

When Zigbee coordinator forms new network, it woul do this scan by default to select a channel.

I don't understand how it does it.

In my application I select the channel, manually, before sending any data on the channel...

I don't quite sure I understand what you're saying... can you please explain it to me?

* I didn't meant to the Sniffer, I meant to my own application...

If you only enable single channel in your application, coordinator would only use that single channel. If you enable multiple channels, coordinator would scan all those channels and find one it think clear to form network.

We usually set Zigbee on f8wconfig and that’s all.

I guess I didn't explain myself.
I am building a board with CC2520, that communicate with other board with CC2520, and I need to write on the processor the driver for both of the boards.
I am not using PC software to send/get data.

i don't run it.
My application in on microcontroller, STM32F302, to be precisely.
As I wrote in previous post, I have two boards and both based on microcontroller.
I want to know how to let the CC2520 device to select the clearest channel automatically.
I hope now it is more clear...

CC2520 is just a transceiver and everything is controlled by host MCU. I suppose you should run some kind of SW on your host MCU STM32F302, right? Then, what is it?

Yes.
I have an firmware that manage the CC2520.
The transmit and receive are managed by the controller, my question is, if there any option to let the CC2520 to set the channel by itself, without interfering with the MCU.
I read in the datasheet about CCA. I would like to know what is it, and how I can use it...
