CC2630: reduce power consumption

Part Number: CC2630

Hello,

The use case of my customer is to turn on the CC2630 , send 3 zigbee frames @ +5dbm then shut down. It works pretty well, however we are noticing that current consumed is higher than expected. He has 19.6mA peak current on the input during transmit as you can see in the picture below .

According to datasheet MCU consumption is 61uA/Mhz -> 4.88mA + 6.1mA for the +5dbm => expected 11mA.

What might explain the difference between 19.6mA and 11mA? how to reduce that current peak in order to reduce average power consumed?
