CC2530: Question about associate device list

ZSTACK-CC2530-2.5.1, already enable NV_RESTORY.

1. Power on router and end device, wait coordinator to set up networking successfully. Then power off route and end device until associate device list is full. Is it possible allowed more to join in when power on other new router or end device?

2. How to update parent associate device list? Is it updated automatic or manual?

3. How to update route's associate device list? Is it same? Thanks.

1. If association list is full, it's not possible to allow any router or device to join.
2.&3 what do you mean parent and route's associate device list? Anyway, association table is maintained by Z-Stack and application is not recommended to manipulate it.

So, for associate device list. What operation can we do from application layer? Define macro definition?

As I replied in previous post, you suppose shouldn't do anything to association list from application. If you still insist manipulating it, you can use APIs in AssocList.h.

Hey Daniel,

Zigbee 3.0 implements a child aging mechanism where the parent ages out neighbor table entries for child end devices by a pre-configured default timeout: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../What's_New_in_ZigBee_3.0

You can try following a similar approach for your legacy Z-stack.
