CC2530: Can CC2350 End Device work with Button Cell?

Hi,

Wonder if CC2530 can work with normal button cell, e.g. CR2450.

Also, can it work if it is CC2530 + CC2592?

I think voltage may be ok for 3V. But not sure about TX/RX current.

It depends how you use it. CC2530 would consume about 28-30mA on RX on and about 40mA on TX 0dbm. If you don’t do continues TX/RX, it would work. However, I would suggest you to use CC2630 or CC2652 if you use coin cell battery.

Thanks. Is the code for CC2530 compatible for CC2630?

I can see there is some difference in the spec, e.g. Frequency and GPIO.

No, CC2530 and CC2630 use different Z-Stack.
