My setup :

ZC –> CC2531 / ZNP 1.2.1
ZED –> zstack home 1.2.1
Z-Stack Monitor and Test API.pdf

A ZED is connected to the ZNP.

I can see its nwkaddr, ieee, bind a cluster, simple desc, ...

I would like to :

parse the data (0-128 bytes) for AF_INCOMING_MSG. Is it documented somewhere ?

Len 1 Specifies the length of the data.

Data 0-128 Contains 0 to 128 bytes of data.

read for example, the attribute ModelID, cluster GEN_BASIC for my ZED

1. As I know, there’s no document to mention what you describe to parse the data (0-128 bytes) for AF_INCOMING_MSG.
2. You can use ZCL read attribute command to do it.

For the 2nd point, I suppose I have to send a AF_DATA_REQUEST

I'll have a look at it to see what to send to do the read attribute command.

Yes, you have to use AF_DATA_REQUEST to send ZCL read attribute command.

Hi YiKai,

Sorry for my late reply.

Based from different threads,

I’ve used the AF_DATA_REQUEST to send successfully :

a command to toggle the samplelight app
read any attribute
write any attribute

Nevertheless, I still have a few questions.

I went through the set of documentations in the z-stack package, but could not find what I needed.

Do you know where I could find the description of the whole set of commands ?

Or else

Send command to toggle the samplelight

0x01, 0x01, 0x02 Meaning of first 2 bytes ?

Read / write attribute command

0x00, 0x00, 0x0?,... Meaning of first byte ?

If I am correct, second byte is the sequence number,

and the third byte is the Foundation Command ID (zcl.h)

It's well defined in ZCL spec.
