CC2590: RF tune-up tolerance FCC

Part Number: CC2590
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2591, CC2592

Hi,

for FCC approval, we need to know the tune-up tolerance of CC2590. Unfortunately there is no related information on the data sheet.

Anybody?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Markus

  • Hi,

Please refer to Regulatory Requirements on SWRA308 (for CC2591). I guess the same applies to CC2590 also.

If it is new design, better to use CC2592.

    Thanks,

  • Hi,
I checked AN086 (www.ti.com/lit/an/swra308a/swra308a.pdf) but it also says nothing regarding tune-up tolerance. Tune-up tolerance is, afak, the expected maximum output power variations of a product and is required to calculate human exposure for FCC. Seems the calculation changed recently, last year it was not requested.

So there must be a statement from TI special for CC2590 (as it is product dependend).

Btw. CC2592 is complete different in output power.

    Best regards,
    Markus
  • Hi,

It seems you are looking for Output Power variation. If that is so, please see the following table from the CC2590 data sheet.

    Thanks,
