CC2530: Coordinator setup using ZNP

Can you show me your SYS_OSAL_NV_WRITE command?

However I don't see the coordinator in my packet sniffer tool.

Also I connected an end device to the network and the serial port terminal shows my end device joins the network. However, I don't see the end device in my sniffer tool as well.

Note:- I use a CC2531EMK module to log packets.

Can you attach your sniffer log? Are you sure you scan correct channel?

I am not sure if you need to reverse the byte but can try.

I got it fixed. After I reverse the byte order for Channel  ID it can see the Coordinator and End device on sniffer.

Now I ran in to another issue. Need your expert advice here. I'm reporting temperature measurement value from End Device to Coordinator using BDB Reporting. Once the End Device joins the network I don't see the end device reporting data sent to the coordinator. Attached the sniffer log for your reference.

I'm not sure why it doesn't work when I configure coordinator as ZNP.

Should I change BDB_FINDING_BINDING_CAPABILITY_ENABLED=0 to BDB_FINDING_BINDING_CAPABILITY_ENABLED=1 in CC2530.ewp project file? to enable Finding and Binding method at Coordinator which is configured as ZNP.

I don’t think you have to change this.

How do I then get bdb reporting working between coordinator and end device?

If you do binding to reporting attribute of a cluster, device should do bdb reporting.

Thank you YK Chen. I'm using the default ZNP example from Z-Stack-3.0.1 for my ZC and SampleTemperatureSensor for my ZED. My aim to connect ZC to a linux machine (preferably a RPI) and receive ZED temperature measurements and publish it to a cloud platform. I thought I can ZNP example for my ZC such that I can receive message on serial port which I can listen using a simple serial application running at linux end. Could you help me with this regard?

You can refer to CC2531EM-IOT-HOME-GATEWAY-RD which already shows you this capability.
