Hi,

I am trying to estimate the approximate RAM requirements for Zstack 2.3 for a mesh network of 50 nodes with 128bit-AES sercurity

i wlll not be using binding and group addressing and am using a user profile with only two clusters with just one application end point

hence i dont need the cluster libraries

i looking at a rough estimate of around 8kb (without application data) . although am not sure so i want your views on it

besides has anyone complied the SeriallAPP on the EXP5438 ,how much RAM did it consume ??

If you install the latest Z-Stack release for MSP5438 you will find your answers in the documentation:

C:\Texas Instruments\ZStack-EXP5438-2.3.1-1.4.0\Documents\EXP5438\README EXP5438 Full.txt

The file only contains the bugs and the changes nothing about memory requirements are mentioned . since i do not hav access to the IAR complier at this moment i cant complie the sample applications hence i cant know how much ram does the stack actually consumes, if i could just know that from you or someone who has worked on the SerialAPP or the other app it woud be great

Well i got it ,the RAM and flash req for TIMAC,SimpliciTI and Zstack are mention in this document pg 39

Yes, they are mentioned for one basic configuration.

However, in a real WSN it will depend upon you the size and how you scale your network. I mean that it can change from configuration to configuration
