Try to use Flash Programmer 2 to do mass erase to your CC2538-CC2592EMK and test again.

I successed to use Flash Programmer 2.
But, I want to test debugging mode in IAR.
I still have a same problem.

Which Z-Stack version do you use?

I don't use Z-stack now.

I just use to controller.

My peripheral is I2C, UART, ADC.

If you try examples in CC2538-SW, does it work?

Yes, I do.

The example in CC2538-SW is built by IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM v.6.50.3 and I had test them with version 7.40. I suggest you to use 7.40 instead of 8.22.2 to test it.

I can confirm what YiKai Chen has said.

We had a similar problem where we had 4 boards that looked like they were bricked when we tried to debug. We went back to IAR version 7.40 and loaded the PER tester FW and we were able to step through the PER tester FW. We were then able to debug our personal FW.

I couldn't understand your question and I have no problem to debug those example in CC2538-SW with my IAR 7.40

I sucessed to debug in CC2538-SW foundation source with IAR 8.22 and 7.40.
When I add my code, source size is 27KB over.
Then I can't download and debug.

CC2538 has 512KB flash. Do you mean your code size is more than 512KB?

I refered edge_trigger_int.
my path is "\cc2538_foundation_firmware_1_0_1_0_swrc271a\cc2538_foundation_firmware_1_0_1_0\driverlib\cc2538\examples\gpio\projects\iar".

Do you clone an edge_trigger_int project and add your code on it? If so, does it work right after you clone edge_trigger_int and haven't added any code?

Yes, it is.
If I add my code, program size is bigger than 28KB.
Then I cannot download to target.
And If I don't add my code, program size is lower than 28KB.
The I can download to target.

When code memory is lower than 27KB, device is normal operation.

But, when it is higher than 27KB, device is no operation.

I will upload execution capture movie.

So you can download and debug but are just concerned about the verify warnings (not errors). Click Project -> Download -> Erase Memory and try programming again.

You have to select "Printf formatter" to "Tiny" and "Scanf Formatter" to "Small". Then, it would work.

The size of the project may not be the issue but rather what's included, particularly detect() seems to create the lock-up so you should find out what specific part of this function creates the issue and go from there. There are project much larger than 27 KB that have no issues.
