hello,

1) what will happen if I disable child aging in z-stack 3.0?

will it affect the network performance ?

Why do you mean to do this? It will cause some trouble in association table management and routing path if you disable it.

I just want to understand its effect, because in z-stack 1.2.2a by default its disabled and in z-stack 3.0 its not

Z-Stack 3.0 enable it because it already applies Zigbee 3.0 R21 core spec and it is mandatory to have child aging enable. When Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a was released, R21 core spec had not been final yet so it is disable by default.
