Hi,

I'm using Flash Programmer 2 tool to flash my .out file. The Problem is,

my last week code is Flashing correctly and Restart the MCU finely.

But for, my latest code, if I flash, means the tool showing flash success but the device is not getting restarting.

if I build same old code again, their also same problem showing flash success but the device is not getting restarting.

I think, the .out making problem. how to solve this one?

Does the code work if you flash the device directly from the IDE (IAR, CCS)?

Without not knowing anything about the code you are trying to flash and how the .out file is generated it's difficult to help.

Yes, through IAR i tried its working fine.
but our requirement is to flash the code via uart

Through uart also flashing fine.
but device restart after fashing is not happening.

If you try to flash the same binary from Flash Programmer 2 using JTAG, does it work?

Yes, it's working fine through JTAG in flash programmer 2.

Ok, fine see.

I try to flash my code through UART in Flash programmer 2 tools. the status is shown by the tool below,

>Reading file: F:/chethan/ZIGBEE/KIKO/KIKO_PROJECT/Point/Project/zstack/HomeAutomation/KikoPoint/CC2538/Router - OTAClient - ImageA - withBootloader/Exe/Router-OTAClient-ImageA-withBootloader.out.

>Start flash erase ...

>Erase finished successfully.

>Start flash programming ...

>Programming finished successfully.

But, at the end of flash successful, the device should restart, that is not happening and my MCU also not working further. if I flash same .out file though JTAG in flash programmer 2 tools is flashing and restarting the device fine. and MCU also working fine

Could you post the command line you are using?

If you remove the power on the CC2538 you have programmed through UART and apply power again, does the program run?

In addition, which debug probe are you using.
