Hi,

I've tried make the change on "BDB reporting doesn't support read/write attribute data callback functions". However, I get an error that "gAttrDataValue" is undefined. I am wondering if this is already a defined value, and I should just use extern to resolve my issue. Or is there something missing?

Jack Loop I suppose you can claim a global variable "uint8 *gAttrDataValue;" in bdb_Reporting.c to fix the issue.

For this fix: Errors due to BDB header build types, can you post a screen shot of how to do: "Change the device library with -C $PROJ_DIR$\..\..\..\Libraries\TI2530DB\bin\AllDevice-Pro.libz"?

I get an error when I changed the library: Error[e12]: Unable to open file 'C:\Users\Alex F\Desktop\Z-Stack 3\Projects\zstack\HomeAutomation\GenericApp\CC2530DB\..\..\..\Libraries\TI2530DB\bin\AllDevice-Pro.libz'. How can I fix this?

You should use AllDevice-Pro.lib instead of AllDevice-Pro.libz. The last character "z" is typo.

I get this error now: Error[e46]: Undefined external "gLINK_STATUS_JITTER_MASK" referred in nwk ( C:\Users\Alex F\Desktop\Z-Stack 3\Projects\zstack\Libraries\TI2530DB\bin\AllDevice-Pro.lib ). How can I fix this?

I see on the other link you sent me, they added some code. If this is the solution, where do I add it?

Find all "#if ( ZSTACK_ROUTER_BUILD ) || defined ( ZBIT )" and replace it with "#if ( ZSTACK_ROUTER_BUILD ) || (ZG_BUILD_ENDDEVICE_TYPE) || defined ( ZBIT )".

Thanks. I also have this warning: Warning[Pe047]: incompatible redefinition of macro "BDB_NETWORK_FORMATION_CAPABILITY" (declared at line 106) C:\Users\Alex F\Desktop\Z-Stack 3\Components\stack\bdb\bdb.h 112. How do I resolve this?

Hi,

I am currently trying to implement this fix "1. Stagger the joining of ZED devices, i.e. make your join event sporadic (osal_rand() % 30000) <--- random amount of time between 0 and 30 seconds" from "ZC sends ZEDs Leave Reqs after MAC Association".

Each time "bdb_StartCommissioning(BDB_COMMISSIONING_MODE_NWK_STEERING)" is called, it seems to activate a timer for "zclGenericApp_ProcessCommissioningStatus". What is this timer called?

Hi Jack,

BDB_COMMISSIONING_MODE_NWK_STEERING is only handled inside of bdb_StartCommissioning for devices already on a network, steering causes them to enable permit joining.

Instead of "bdbCommissioningProcedureState.bdbCommissioningState = BDB_COMMISSIONING_STATE_START_RESUME;" and "osal_set_event( bdb_TaskID, BDB_CHANGE_COMMISSIONING_STATE );" at the end of bdb_StartCommissioning, replace with "osal_start_timerEx( zclGenericApp_TaskID, GENERICAPP_JOIN_EVT, (osal_rand() % 3000) );" with GENERICAPP_JOIN_EVT declared in zcl_genericapp.h. Handle this event in zclGenericApp_event_loop to start the commissioning process.
