Hello,

I am using CC2530 with Z-Stack 3.0, in this I saw in the following document

in the section 2.5.7 that we can configure report command reporting time? I want to know can we do this for specific attribute of specific cluster?

If yes, from where can I access the configured value for that cluster?

Yes, you can use report configuration command for specific attribute and cluster.

Dear Yikai,

Here I want a attribute to be reported after every specific time, so how can I configure report command for that?

Also will this reporting be done automatically by ZCL foundation or do we need to write code for it at application level?

You have to refer to ZCL spec to come up configure report command by yourself.

This needs the device supporting configure report cluster.

Dear Yikai,

I am using Temperature cluster ZCL_CLUSTER_ID_MS_TEMPERATURE_MEASUREMENT. and its attribute ATTRID_MS_TEMPERATURE_MEASURED_VALUE supports reporting.

In this case will the reports be sent automatically? if I configure report condiguration for that cluster?

Attribute report isn’t much related to configure report command. Actually, it should be related to binding. After binding, it would start sending temperature reports. Configure report command is about to change report period.

That right. Actually I just need to configure report command period.

Also is it necessary to bind device, in orde to get automatic report after particular period?

And also what is default report period?

Every device can define its default report period. It's device dependent.

Dear Yikai,

Actually I need the period to be controllable from the coordinator, because of which i was hoping if I can using Period of ReportConfiguration.

If you use Z-Stack 3.0.1, you can call bdb_RepAddAttrCfgRecordDefaultToList in your application init function to do it.
