hello ti,

I debug znp on cc2530_pA1 , and I set baudrate and every thing needed, but when I run it and scan whit ztool,, ztool couldn't find it, I check every thing , could u please help me why this happen?

Hey there,

I recommend making sure you look at the Z-Stack ZNP Interface Specification document inside the Documents/API directory.

In there you will see you need to make sure you are using the 'UART' configuration meaning,

delete "HAL_UART_USB" and the "USB_SETUP_MAX_NUMBER_OF_INTERFACES=5" preprocessor defines from IAR.

Then once you connect the CC2530 to your computer make sure your Device Manager is able to see it.

BAUDRATE needs to be 115200, and the other port settings are as follows: 8-N-1.

Hello,

Are you using a SMARTRF05EB? Please read through both the User's Guide (SWRU210) and the Z-Stack ZNP Interface Specification (SWRA442, C:\Texas Instruments\Z-Stack 3.0.1\Documents\API) to make sure you are using the correct hardware settings and compile options.

Try to set znpCfg1 = ZNP_CFG1_UART in InitBoard() and make sure you use P0.2 as UART RX and P0.3 as UART TX

excuse me, I did all them, and once ztool connected, but I can't connect anymore, all wires and connections and znp are ok, but no connection.

I use SMARTRF04EB ,maybe for this?

You need to verify your UART communication lines with an oscilloscope or logic analyzer.

No, you don't need CC debugger when you use Ztool.

You must connect uart from your module to your PC (via UART- USB for example ) , set right setting to Z-Tool and send command
