I need an help. I would want to replace the demo in the video: https://training.ti.com/connect-thread-demo?cu=1136411 , title: Connected Home Thread demo, Nick Smith.

so I need:

5 CC26x2 SimpleLink (4 sensor + 1 network card for border router)

1 BeagleBone Black (for border router)

Do you know what kind of display is mounted on thermostat role CC26x2 card in the video?

Another question: can I use also CC2531USB-RD to sniffer telegrams from a PC?

You can order LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 devices from its product page (click on the link).

You can order BeagleBone Blacks from its product page: https://beagleboard.org/black

The LCD boosterpack used in the demo is the 430BOOST-SHARP96. However, it is currently obsolete and unable to order. A replacement boosterpack with 128x128 resolution is soon to be released in a couple of weeks, which you will be able to order.

Regarding sniffer hardware, you can use CC2531EMK with Ubiqua Protocol Analyzer to sniff Thread networks. Read the Thread User's Guide for how to setup a sniffer with Ubiqua.
