CC2531: CC2531 with CC Debugger - Light won't go green

Hi All,

I have a CC2531 device and a CCDebuger.

I have both drivers installed and i can see both the debugger and the CC2531 stick installed in device manager.

When i connect the debugger and CC2531 the light on the CC Debugger remains red, i cannot get it to go green.

I'm running Windows 10, 64Bit, i have tried multiple drivers just in case but still cannot make it go green.

Could someone please offer me some advice as i'm out of ideas

Is the CC Debugger listed under the Cebal Controlled Device category?

Can you check for the correct orientation of the CC Debugger header on the CC2531 dongle? The notch of the debugger should be towards the "Debug" label on CC2531. Power on both of them and press the reset on the CC Debugger.

Thanks for your help so far, so i have installed the packet sniffer and i can see that the CC2531 is in working order. So it must be an issue with the CC Debugger.

Can someone advise me of which drivers I should be using for the CC Debugger? I'm running Windows 10 64bit

Hiya,

So i have used that driver can see both devices in Device Manager, i still cannot make the red light go green?

Can you reverse your ribbon cable connecting between your CC2531EMK-usb and CC Debugger?

I have the exact same issue.

Device manager shows both drivers: Check
Tried 2.50.01 and 2.50.00: Check
Tried reverse cabling: Check (led on cc2531 module turned off)

No clue, how to continue.

Help wanted badly.

Okey so it seems I got passed the issue by disconnecting the 9th pin.
I used jumper cables and detached the 9th pin. Wich is supposed to be an optional 3.3 v line from the debugger to power the target board.

That is a gamechanger for me. 9th pin take it out all green lights.
