Hello,

I am trying to establish a network which has BeabgleBone Black as a gateway and cc2650stk sensor tags and cc2531 sniffer for ZigBee and cc2540 for BLE. So my question is Can I flash these sniffers(cc2531 and cc2540) to use in Zstack Linux Gateway in BBB for Zigbee/BLE without CC Debugger. I have an Rf Smart 06 board, IAR, Code Composer and Flash Programmer 2. For example, I can flash CC2650stk with them so is it possible to flash cc2531/cc2540 without CC Debugger or without any new hardware?

No, you have to use CC Debugger.

Thanks for quick response. And so sorry to hear that. I have cc2538dk also maybe I should use one of them as gateway. I will probably ask some more question to you sir soon. But, for now, Thanks.

Maybe you can consider using latest CC2652R instead of CC253x to run the system.

I would prefer to handle with this issue with the hardwares which I already have. But after we evaluate the situation we will see. Maybe I wil ask some more questions today after our meeting. Then I will click This resolved my issue.

I found a hardware CC Debugger. How can I make cc2531 ready to use with BBB gateway. Which document can I read.
