CC2650: Does 6LoWPAN have a sleeping mode?

Is there a sleeping mode defined for 6LoWPAN in Contiki to achieve low power requirements? If there is such a configuration, is there a way to customize it or not? If there isn't such a sleeping mode, what are the actions taken to achieve the low power requirements in 6LoWPAN along with the contiki?

Hi Chen, Thanks for the reply.
For more clarifications, may I know some details or references to read what actually happens when the mode is changed to either mesh or leaf or feather. I meant how does the energy saving is achieved. Is it by changing the duty cycle or any other mechanism.
The next question is that can we achieve low power conditions when we use mess mode because as far as I understood, the mesh nodes do routing and it is needed to keep the receiver on to check for incoming packets. It might consume more power. Is there any way to avoid always listening ?

As I know, energy saving is achieved by changing duty cycle. For a mesh node, I don't think there is a way to avoid always listening.
