Hi TI Team,

We are using zed_switch_cc26x2lp of SDK simplelink_cc26x2_sdk_2_20_00_36 for our end-device solution.

If we want to implement Router mode to be able to function as router in zigbee mesh.

Please confirm if we only need to use zr_switch_cc26x2lp ?

Yes, you should use zr_switch_cc26x2lp to do it.

Hi YK,

Thank you. I noticed there is no code difference between zr switch/ zed switch. What is the definition need to add for router mode? Example, ZG_BUILD_RTR_TYPE?

ZED uses nwk_zed_cc2652.a and ZR uses nwk_zr_cc2652.a

Hi,

The zr_light implements the router functionality.

Any example beginning with "zr_" may be used for the router.
Any example beginning with "zc_" may be used for the coordinator

In the Unified SimpleLink CC13X2/CC26X2 SDK , there is syscfg version:

1. zr_sw_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs
2. zr_sw_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs_syscfg

What is the difference?

sysconf is a new CCS tool that helps developer to do HW settings and the project name with sysconf means enable it in the project.

We used to develop for zed switch. Now we want to use the zr switch in the unufied sdk..

For zr_sw_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs mode, is the following router functions already handled seamlessly?

-routes packets
-Associates routers and end devices

I change because DIO15 is used just like before:

SET_CCFG_BL_CONFIG_BL_PIN_NUMBER=0x01

Result: After calling on SysCtrlSystemReset(), it cannot reboot as normally before.

Any suggestion to add?

This is Rev E already sample already, and I already checked with Flash programmer.

Note, this one we change the bootloader PINto unus ed PIN in our schematic design because it was assigned to 0x0D for Rev C and 0x0F in Rev F.

In switch end device at SDK 3.0, we added predefined symbol ZCL_REPORT_DESTINATION_DEVICE to be able to use API:

- zcl_SendReportCmd

In SDK 2.40 switch router mode, what is the configuration needed to add?
