SIMPLELINK-CC26X2-SDK: Having a problem with ZigBee dissectors in Wireshark 2.6.6

Followed the ZigBee Light and Switch example in the Simplelink SDK.

Pipe is set up to wireshark from the Smart RF Sniffer 2, and data is showing up. BUT the dissector for ZigBee doesn't appear to be parsing any ZigBee data.

The version of Wireshark is 2.6.6 and is the 64 bit version. and I copied the 64 bit dll's to the 2.6 folder In wireshark. Is there an issue with using the 64 bit dlls with the newer version of wireshark?

Do you do the following step?

Open Wireshark go to Edit > Preferences > Protocols > Zigbee add the Zigbee TC Link Key

I have the ZigBee TC Link Key set, and I double checked to be sure.

But I noticed that the dlls do not show up on the plugin folder? HELP > About Wireshark [Plugins]

I have tried putting the TI dlls in multiple folders: (which can be viewed from
… HELP>About Wireshark [Folders]

Global Plugins C:\Program Files\Wireshark\plugins\2.6 binary plugins
Personal Plugins C:\Users\Martin\AppData\Roaming\Wireshark\plugins\2.6 binary plugins

but they don't appear to be getting registered?

Also I tried moving them into the
C:\Program Files\Wireshark\plugins\2.6\epan directory
and I get the following error …

The plugin 'ti802154ge-x64-2x.dll' has no "plugin_version" symbol

The plugin 'tirpi-x64-2x.dll' has no "plugin_version" symbol

Any ideas?

I use Wireshark 2.4.11 64 bit version. Maybe you can try to same version to see it works.

I would definitely recommend trying a Wireshark 2.4.x version as this has been tested and known to work with SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2.
