CC2530: Can I Set IEEE Address without programming

Hello,

I need your help when I set IEEE Address using CC2530.

I use SmartRFProgConsole.exe, and I want to Set IEEE Address without programming.

There is already programmed.

Can I change my IEEE Address without re-program?

Primary IEEE address cannot be modified. Do you mean to change secondary IEEE address?

Yes, that's right.

I want to change secondary address.

I know I can change if I setup firmware.

But I want to know it can be changed secondary address, no firmware update or re-program.

Is it possible??

Hello SungDoo Kim,

You can attempt to directly write bits to the HAL_FLASH_IEEE_PAGE + HAL_FLASH_IEEE_OSET location, but as it is stored in flash you cannot change it without programming to some degree.
