CC2652R: Interfacing CC2652R with host MCU via i2c

Hello,

I am interested in integrating zigbee and thread protocol into our existing gateway product. We want to use CC2652R to achieve this.

Can we interface the CC2652R and it's zigbee/thread stack using i2c with the host processor?

Hi,

Yes, you should be able to interface the CC2652R device using I2C. You can see the i2ctmp116 driver example.

Are you looking to run the CC2652R device as a network processor connected to an application processor?

yes we are using it as a network coprocessor. Can you provide any information on release date?
