Hi,
I would like to know how a USB packet sniffer works. When I receive a message from a router to my coordinator, I see an attached LQI value with it. How is this value calculated? If the source of the message is physically far away, but the message is transmitted over other routers to the coordinator (the message hops through the mesh network), will the LQI be low or high (assuming the distance between each successive router is low and there is no interference)? Also, if I use a packet sniffer, I see lower LQI values than what my coordinator receives. How does that work?
Thanks,
Ashwin
